All in all, a two year test performed on over one thousand men found that 83% of them maintained, or in fact, increased their hair mass from the neckline. This one of a kind test began over a decade ago, and it was found that the initial test subjects actually maintained those successful results for 4 years after the trial was completed. The 1mg of finasteride was manufactured under the brand name, Propecia.
An added consequence of taking propecia, is that it affects the levels of testosterone in the body, and hence is available only on prescription. The opinion of a physician should be asked for and the prescribed dosage followed exactly. Hormonal balances can be delicate and keeping to a regular dosage helps to guarantee stability.
The falling of hair may not be a sign that you should start taking the hair loss pill immediately.
